November's Cocktail of the Month is La Mauz 'The Muse' made with banana-infused Maker's Mark Bourbon and Bols Crème de Cacao. Serves 2
The signature taste of vanilla and butterscotch flavours found in Maker’s Mark are coupled with a banana infusion, before adding notes of cacao and coffee for a truly decadent after dinner treat.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients
Stir for 30 seconds, or until chilled
Strain into chilled coupe glasses and garnish with grated nutmeg
FOR BANANA INFUSION
In a mason jar pour 200ml Maker’s Mark Bourbon and add 1 sliced banana
Leave for 3-4 days. This will give flavour and texture to the bourbon
Strain into the cocktail shaker using a mesh strainer
